I am a Licensed Master's Social worker with over 30 years of experience. I work with individual adults, couples and families. I bring authenticity, respect and compassion to my work. My practical clinical approach blends cognitive behavioral skills and techniques with a focus on how mindfulness can bring immediate relief and long term wellness benefits. I help you look at your challenges with a three-pronged approach. What in your environment or behaviors might be changed? When a challenge cannot be changed, how can you change the way you think about it, restructuring and reframing your thinking to bring greater ease?
When a challenge cannot be changed nor can you practically change the way you think about it, the last step is to figure out how to live with it. I can help with coping skills and provide emotional support during times of emotional turmoil.
